I’m not academia researcher. However with the intention and motivation to share knowledge by education, I have to make clear ‘what is knowledge?’

From proper perspective, ‘knowledge’ is defined as what we know inside our mind. Acquiring of knowledge involves the mental processes of comprehension, understanding, learning and linking that go on in the mind.

When we wish to share knowledge (what we know), we can transfer the messages in kind of oral, written, graphic, gestural or even through ‘body language’. Such messages carry ‘knowledge’ that we intent to share, however it’s only constitute of ‘information’, in which other knowing mind may assimilate, understand, comprehend and incorporate into its own knowledge structures.

In other words, knowledge can only be recorded in form as information’s (written, sound or graphical). However, it’s may not be perfectly as its original form of knowledge. This is best known by human in civilization to transfer and evolve of its knowledge. Knowledge is abstract in individual mind, and information is the object (more tangible).

 Knowledge flow

In simple math explanation:
Knowledge built up by group of information, but single information may not contain knowledge.

Hope process is the suggestion to obtain knowledge by gather information thru using ear (hear/listening), eye (observe/reading), hand (practicing) and then process in mind (edify).

Here with "loose" definition:
Information is facts, description by sentences, or relationship of data.
Data is the simple form of numerical value, or description word.
