SMART ModelIt is used to define objectives or desired outcomes from a process. For beginner, it can be use as checklist against what has been defines in the items/statements. S – Specific Set the statement in clear, focus, and visible. M – Measurable Make sure the item is quantifiable, metric type, and data collectable. A - Acceptable/Attainable People whose involve are agreeing with these, and result is possible to attain. R – Relevant Outcome is related to what process for, and not the side topic. T – Time defined Set the milestones and timeline for work towards outcome(s). P/S: Generally, SMART (after mastering it) can be used in daily activities. In example, try to listen to any “politically correct” statement. You will find yourself SMARTer. However, don’t over annoying. J |
